From Vision to Victory: The Bold Journey of Our Church Plant

In August 2017, Pastor Abe embarked on an incredibly transformative journey filled with unwavering faith and relentless determination. Even while he was incarcerated, he passionately ministered to his beloved family over the phone, igniting a powerful spark of hope and resilience that would eventually transcend his difficult circumstances. This remarkable commitment inspired countless others enduring their own struggles, illuminating the path towards freedom and healing. Upon his miraculous release from prison, he joyfully reunited with his family, reestablishing those cherished connections, and teamed up with Will Stephens and Matt Thomas of Firm Foundation Ministries to plant the Safe Haven Freedom Initiative Church in 2021. This bold and audacious vision soon evolved into a glorious reality at its vibrant new location, 1723 Quinadro Blvd in Kansas City. Here, Pastor Abe fervently sought to uplift and empower the community through the profound love of Christ, creating a welcoming sanctuary of healing, personal growth, and spiritual renewal for all who entered with open hearts and minds, ready to embrace the beautiful possibilities of new beginnings.
